I am a mother of three children and have recently completed my college degree . The last class I had to take was Sociology . The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had .
The last task given to the students was named " Smiling " . All students are required to go out and give a smile to the three strangers who met and document their reactions . After that, each student was asked to present in front of the class . I am a cheerful , easy friendly and always smile at everyone . So , I thought this would be easy . After receiving the task , I rushed to see my husband and my youngest
son is waiting in the garden in the campus , to go kerestoran McDonald's
are located around campus .
The morning air was very cold and dry . As
my husband will go in the queue , I interrupted and asked him to
accompany the youngest just that while looking for an empty seat . When
I was in the queue , waiting to be served , a sudden everyone around us
to move away , and even people who had queued up behind me come away
out of the queue . A feeling of panic control of myself , when to turn and see why they are all on the run? When turned around I smelled a horrible " dirty body odor " sting
enough , it turns out right behind me , stood two homeless men were very
dirty !
I'm confused , and unable to move at all . When I looked down , withoutI deliberately staring eyes of men is shorter , which stands closer to me , and he was " smiling " at me . The blue-eyed man , his eyes sharp , but also exudes affection . He stared at me , as if he asked me to accept the ' presence ' on the ground. He greeted " Good day " while still smiling and while counting some coins prepared forpay for food to be ordered . I spontaneously smiled back , and immediately remembered my ' duty ' given by the lecturer . The second man was playing with his strange movements standing behind her . I soon realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue -eyed gentleman was a " helper " her.
I
was very concerned after finding out that in fact it is now in the
queue I just live with them , and the three of us suddenly had reached
the front of the counter . When a young woman incounter asked me what I wanted to message , I invite these two men to order first . Blue-eyed men immediately ordered "Coffee , one cup Nona . "
Apparently
the coins that are collected only able to be purchased by them (
already a direstoran rules here , if you want to sit in the restaurant
and warm up , then people have to buy something ) . And it seems the two guys just want to keep warm .
Suddenly
I was attacked by a sense of compassion that makes me was stunned for a
while, while my eyes follow them to find a place to sit that far apart
from the other guests , almost all of whom were watching them . At the same time , I realized that it was all eyes in the restaurant
were also being drawn to me , and certainly also look at all the '
action ' me .
I only realized after the clerk at the counter greeted me for the third time to ask what I wanted to message . I smiled and asked to be given two breakfast parcel (excluding my order ) in a separate tray .
After
paying all the orders , I enlist the help of other officers at the
counter for my order to deliver the tray table seating husband and my
son . While I bring another tray wrapped around the corner walking towards the table which have been the two men to rest . I put the tray of food on his table , and put my hand on topback palm bemata cold blue man , while I say " this food has been my message to you two . "
Back in the blue eyes that stared at me , now it's getting wet eyes
glazed and he was only able to say " Thank you very much , ma'am . "
I tried to keep my self-control , as he patted my shoulder said " Surely not Iwho did this to you , God is also to be around here and I have to whisper something ketelinga to deliver the food to you . "
Listening to me , the Blue Eye of emotion and could not help the two men hugged sobbing . When I was eager to embrace the two men . I already can not stop crying when I walked away and join my husband and son , who was not far away from their seats .
When I sat down my husband tried to assuage my tears with a smile and said" Now I know why God sent you to be my wife , for sure, to give a ' shade ' for myself and my children ! "
We
held hands for a moment and at that time we were really grateful and
realize , that just because the ' whisper ' was the one we have been
able to utilize the ' opportunity ' to be able to do something for
others who are in desperate need . As we were eating , starting from guests who will leave the restaurant
and followed by several other guests , one by one they approached our
table , to just want to ' shake hands ' with us .
One of them , a father , holding my hand , and say "Your hand has
provided an expensive lesson for all of us who are here , if one day I
was given the opportunity by it , I will do as you have demonstrated to
us just now . "
I can only say " thank you " with a smile . Before he left the restaurant , I was a time to look toward the two
men , and as there is a ' magnet ' that connects our inner , they
immediately turned towards us , smiling and waving his hand towards our
lambaikkan .
On
the way home I reflect back on what I've been doing the last two
homeless people , it really is the 'action ' that never occurred to me .
The experience that day showed me the ' love ' of God was once a very WARM and BEAUTIFUL !
I returned to college , on the last day of class with a ' story ' is in my hand . I am submitting ' paper ' I told the lecturer . And the next day , before the start of my college professors were
called to the front of the room , he looked at me and said , " May I
share this story tothe others ? " my happily agreed.
When will start the lecture he asked for the attention of the class to read my paper . He began to read , listen carefully to the stories siswapun the professor , and the lecture room became silent . In the manner and style that belongs to the faculty in bringing the
story to make the students present in the lecture hall as went to see
how the events actually took place , so that the students who sit in the
back row of them came towards me to hug me to express feelings harunya .
At the end of the reading of the paper, the professor accidentally
closes his story by quoting one sentence I wrote at the end of the paper
." Smile with ' heart ' , and you 'll find out how ' devastating ' impact caused by that smile . "
With
own way , God has ' used' me to touch people at McDonald 's , my
husband , son, instructor , and every student who attends college in my
last night as a student . I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I never get any college , namely : " unconditional acceptance . "
***********
Many
stories were written about love to be impregnated by the readers , but
for anyone who could read and interpret the story is expected to take a
lesson how to love others by utilizing little possessions we have,
instead loved possessions that not ours , to take advantage of others .
If
you think that this story has touched your heart , forward this story
to the people closest to you , so that at least the people who read this
story will be moved to do something ( no matter how small ) to others
who are in need of a helping hand .
