They are in the same room . Roy and David , the two men had been in the hospital a long time .Roy get a bed that is located close to the door of their room , while he was in bed for a side window .

Once during any one day , for the sake of saturation drive , David tried to get up from his bed and looked out the window .

He told Roy , how he could see the geese swimming in a small lake near the hospital , or chasing birds in the blue sky . Blooming flowers of various colors on the side of the building . And once David even told about the parade he saw on the streets .

Roy, who although can not see all of it , but he could imagine the situation exactly as it is spoken by David .The days passed , David kept telling various sights he saw outside the window .

Was slowly raised envy inside Roy , he feels this is all so unfair. Why only David can see all the sights ? Roy thought , he would be willing to do anything to be able to see the scenery outside the window which had been long that he could not see .


And on a night that Roy could not close his eyes continue to look toward the window .Then he then heard a voice murmuring softly , and Roy turned his attention to his roommates bed . He saw David 's body - convulsive seizures while holding his heart ache. Roy could just push the button on the side of his bed for the nurse in order to give relief to David , but he did not do it .

The next morning , the nurses find David 's body lying dead on the bed. The doctor also stated that he had died .Hearing the news, Roy then asked the nurse if he is allowed to move to the bed near the window . The nurse agreed.

Shortly after the nurse helped move it to the bed where David lay earlier , Roy immediately take his eyes trying to see the scenery outside the window once he had long dreamed of , and he could only hear the stories of David .


But Roy can only be stunned when he found himself staring at a big wall , the only view he could see through the window .
